We price in different ways:

CONSULTING, MANAGEMENT AND OTHER SERVICES: As agreed in the contract hourly consulting, and monthly retainer based on the scope of the line. The services includes consulting, photography, marketing, social media development…etc. have a cost that depends on the kind and quantity of work is requested. Compared to the same level competitors in the most important fashion markets Make is normally 20-25% more convenient.

DEVELOPMENT SEARCH AND DESIGN: flat rate per style.

We are not an agent, and we act like a fashion hub.

We invoice the brand and we give the guarantee of timing and quality.

All our other competitors that work differently are just brokers…at the first issue they will not be able to fix any situation and the problem remains between the brand and the manufacturing company (a bad situation!!)

MANUFACTURING: As described in the pricelist after the development step.

The cost of manufacturing is solely calculated on the pricelist and quantities. No extra fees, no process fees.

Make is not a Broker and the manufacturing companies are not “suppliers”, but this is a real network. the pricelist includes Make’s profit beacause we work in one group

The complete Management service cannot be a standard service, because each Brand and each company requires different times, attention and commitment.

Furthermore, the company or brand can decide which services to activate and which services not to include in the offer, in order to optimize costs and results.

The full service is very convenient for the brand for several reasons:

• It uses top-level professionals only when necessary without having to pay salaries even when it is not necessary.

• It uses top-level professionals who otherwise could not be hired by an emerging brand.

Due to past experiences, Make works with brands or designers who have allocated a budget to their project.

Creating a few pieces by chance without having a budget dedicated to the line and a project is not interesting for Make And it can become harmful for the designer.

To avoid economic damage or waste of time. Make asks the designer What is the budget dedicated to the product and if the designer does not has a very clear idea on the matter, can help her/him through the in-depth experience of its experts, to build a clear, realistic and safe one..

Once the product has been developed, or the sample has been evaluated , Make sends its price list, i.e. the cost of production.

If the Brand needs assistance or consultancy on pricing, i.e. on the construction of its own final price list, this is a paid service.

The development service is one of the most important and effective MAKE’s services and is based on professionals who come from decades of experience in the best luxury brands in the world.

Our pattern makers are able to develop the product from scratch, from a simple sketch or a magazine photograph accompanied by notes. It is one of the services closest to what happens within the large luxury brands.

Compared to Chinese and many American productions, MAKE offers totally non-standard development and production, i.e. totally designed for the Brand. This leads to having to evaluate every single aspect for each category, from color to material, comfort to fitting... etc.

To limit costs, the first piece entirely made by hand, which is used to verify the correct understanding of the fitting, the Pattern and the comfort is THE PROTOTYPE.

The prototype is not a sample. It can be slightly different from the final production piece, avoids creating irreparable errors during production or spending too much money on sampling, purchasing materials and purchasing the required colors before they are confirmed.

Once the prototype has been verified, the Brand can decide whether to request samples (pieces exactly identical to the production piece), with the certainty that these will be perfect, or to proceed directly with production, saving the samples cost.

Manufacturers who directly provide samples identical to production, without creating prototypes are simply not creating an exclusive product, but are using standard materials, colors, or solutions in common with other brands.

Obviously the standard and tolerance are different from productions with normal times and the price is increased, depending on the commitments of the moment and the time required.

Shipments are never paid by Make: the customer can book a pick-up at the addresses that Make will indicate, or request a shipping quote from Make, through its memberships with the best international shippers, in any case the shipment it is always to be considered F.O.B. and is never at Make's expense or risk.

In the event that a major international freight forwarder can create a problem, lose a parcel...etc., Make provides assistance if the shipment has been booked from its offices, basic assistance included free of charge in the service.

the customers can send their own materials for both development and production. In that case Make waits for the materials to be delivered. Both development and production begin from the moment all materials are delivered.

The Make’ network has been working with many suppliers for decades, in Italy and Europe we count on more than 75 different suppliers of material from fabrics, leather, accessories to materials for bags and shoes, etc.

Normally Italian materials are of much higher quality than those that can be found on other markets (in fact many American, Australian, English brands use Italian fabrics) and knowledge and proximity to already known suppliers allow for considerable savings in terms of delivery time and cost.

As regards standard materials, the service has no cost and is totally free.

Standard fabrics such as cottons, cotton drill, silk satin Poly satin… etc. are researched, selected and supplied with no extra cost

Regarding the search for non-standard materials such as printed leathers, processed leathers, printed fabrics, fabrics printed on request, specific compositions, etc., a one-off cost ranging from 400 to 600$ is applied
